I’m Sharmaine, a UX Designer with a background in HR and a passion for creating seamless digital experiences. 

Armed with a business degree from Temasek Poly, I've transitioned from managing people to crafting user-centric designs that delight and inspire. 

My journey into UX design was catalyzed by my decision to enroll in a rigorous 12-week UX design immersive bootcamp. As I delved deeper into the bootcamp, I discovered a natural alignment between my previous experiences and the principles of UX design. My studies in business provided me with a solid foundation in understanding market dynamics and consumer behaviour, while my time in HR honed my interpersonal skills and empathy.

This transformative experience not only equipped me with the necessary skills but also instilled in me a deep appreciation for the art and science of user-centered design. Through this bootcamp, I embraced a hands-on approach to practicing user-centered design methods and design thinking skills. Collaborating with teams and engaging with clients allowed me to develop a portfolio of diverse projects, each focused on solving real-world problems through innovative design solutions.
