Clovis' passion for film led him to Los Angeles, where he graduated from the prestigious USC School of Cinematic Arts. In his first year at film school, Clovis won an award for his short film, Transitions - and promptly used the prize money to fund a post-apocalyptic sci-fi film, For the Emperor. In 2015, he was given the opportunity to direct a TV pilot, The Comeback Kid, further honing his skills as a writer director. 

In 2016, after a spec commercial he directed got picked up, Clovis was hired at Madison + Vine (West Hollywood) as in-house director, immersing himself in branded and narrative work. 

Clovis continues to direct branded content; his recent work include top global brands such as Singapore Airlines, McDonalds, SONY, VISA, Samsung and Audi.
